The cathedral in Monreale is actually pretty cool. The mosaic on the walls and ceiling is especially impressive. If you climb to the top you also get a great view.

Between the towers, a Neoclassical portico was added in 1770 to protect the main bronze doors. The doors, completed in 1186, were made by Bonanno Pisano, architect of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Amazing place, very much worthwhile taking bus and then the infrequent free mini shuttle bus to. Like a bigger version of the inspirational multi faith palatine chapel. Make sure you go up the tower!

Shockingly beautiful building with great mosaics. The entrance to the church is free. To go to chapels and terraces you have to pay 4 euros which is totally worth it.

Bugüne kadar gördüğüm en çok yaldız, resim, heykel süslemeli kilise burası. Dış görünüşü ise içerinin aksine oldukça sade. Mozaik süslemeler müthiş. Bahçesi güzel. Bir Ortaçağ havası var.
